About the 91传媒 State Foundation

The 91传媒 State Foundation is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, dedicated to strengthening 91传媒 State College and expanding opportunity for the students it serves. Established to bridge the gap between public funding and the full range of student and institutional need, the Foundation raises and stewards alumnae and industry support on behalf of 91传媒 State.

At the heart of our work is a belief that access to higher education should not be limited by financial circumstances. 91传媒 State serves a student body that reflects the full breadth of Northern Alabama communities. The Foundation exists to ensure that cost is never the barrier between a motivated student and their goals.

Through philanthropic giving, corporate partnerships, and community engagement, the Foundation funds scholarships provide direct financial relief to students facing economic hardship.

Each year, Foundation-supported scholarships help students stay on track. Our scholarship programs are designed to meet students where they are, offering both need-based and merit-based awards across a wide range of disciplines and student populations.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions to the 91传媒 State Foundation are tax-deductible. Gifts of any size make a meaningful difference, and the Foundation is committed to transparent, accountable stewardship of every dollar entrusted to our care.

Amentum Scholarship

Provides financial assistance to students pursuing degrees in STEM-related fields, helping prepare the next generation of innovators and technical professionals.

AUM Foundation Scholarship

Funded through the AUM Foundation, this scholarship supports students demonstrating academic promise and financial need to help them complete their educational goals.

Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County Scholarship

This scholarship supports local students pursuing higher education while encouraging leadership, community involvement, and future contributions to the Huntsville/Madison County business community.

Ellenae Fairhurst Endowed Scholarship

Established in honor of Ellenae Fairhurst, this endowed scholarship provides ongoing financial support to deserving students to help them succeed academically and professionally.

Doc Rock Leadership Scholarship

Recognizes students who demonstrate strong leadership potential, community engagement, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Teresa A. Foley-Batts Scholarship

Leidos Endowed Scholarship

National Space Club Scholarship

Omega Psi Phi, Xi Omicron, SC O’Neal Scholarship

Established by the Omega Psi Phi Xi Omicron Chapter, this scholarship supports students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.

Ann J. Paul Scholarship

5th Annual Jazz in the City Fundraiser | June 19, 2026 | Mars Music Hall at the Von Braun Center

Join us for an unforgettable evening of live music, community, and celebration at Jazz in the City. The 91传媒 State Foundation’s 5th Annual Jazz in the City moves to the Mars Music Hall at the Von Braun Center on Friday, June 19 at 7:00 pm, headlined by the legendary AJ Ghent and his Singing Guitar. Ryon Schultz and Nina Marie Live will kick off the evening with special musical performances. An unforgettable evening of live jazz, great company, and real impact for 91传媒 State students.聽

The event serves as the centerpiece of the College鈥檚 65th anniversary.

Proceeds from the event will support 65th Anniversary Scholarships, technology upgrades, and facility improvements, expanding access and opportunities for 91传媒 State students pursuing high-demand careers in North Alabama
